New Year, New Option for Senior Care

When the calendar turns and a new year is upon us, scores of resolutions are made by newly motivated people. Those ever-common resolutions include losing weight, exercising more often, quitting procrastinating, forgoing cursing, quitting smoking, and the list goes on … and on… and on.

We’re not saying that those resolutions are not worthy. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. Usually, though, something happens from January 1 to, say, March 19 or February 8, or even—sorry to say—January 8. Perhaps life just got in the way; maybe a person set their goals too high; possibly he or she just lost motivation.

We’re telling you today that our resolution is to maintain focus on our goal to finish this huge project and open Homeplace of Henderson as soon as possible. We’ve been working at this for more than a year, and though we’ve had our up’s and down’s, we can assure you that we’ve never taken our eyes from our goal.

Reaching our goal is just too important to slow down on. We know that our community lacks enough options for senior care, and we want to ensure that our local seniors can stay healthy this year while also staying close to their families.

In our time in the senior care business in the area, we’ve seen so many people move from assisted living facilities to nursing homes pre-maturely, or these elder loved ones had to go to other facilities across the river in Evansville. Why? Because the service provided locally wasn’t what they needed.

Our local senior citizens will get the care they need at Homeplace. We have a high staff to resident ratio. A Highly-Trained Specialized staff will be accessible 24/7, we will also work closely with their clinicians who will provide guidance to our staff so we can deliver the best personalized approach to deliver their care. Our person-centered approach allows for each resident to get the individual care he or she needs. Our high level of technology allows us to give care that no other facility around can match. Homeplace’s environment is inviting, like walking into a home, unlike other providers whose buildings were constructed with hallways with rooms lined down a long corridor. Finally, our costs are comparable to, and even more affordable than, other places, especially when you consider the additional staff we have working to support all our residents.

For these reasons—and many more—we resolve to reach our goal and open The Homeplace of Henderson in late spring. We’ll be ready to welcome you or your senior loved one to our home.
