Accepting Deposits at Homeplace!

Our opening is so close we can touch it. As we’ve mentioned previously, construction continues, and part of that includes putting final touches on the different living units and gathering areas. And we got to tell you, the place is starting to look pretty good.

All the pieces are coming together, except the most important piece—our residents. And residents are the center of our little universe. Without them, we wouldn’t exist. And so now it’s time to start taking deposits for rooms at the Homeplace.

Our reason to write today is to get the word out to prospective residents and their families. Call us and let us put you on the list of prospective residents. In June—if you’re on the list—we’ll call you to set up an appointment to tour our facility.

Part of the tour will include future residents having the option of picking their apartment. There are three types’ available—studio, one-bedroom, and one-bedroom with a patio. We’re looking to open later in the summer, and though there might be four to six weeks from the time of a tour to opening, just seeing the future apartment will allow residents and families to plan the details of their future home.

Another side of taking deposits and reserving rooms deals with the business aspect. Like we mentioned, we’re opening in late summer, but for this opening we’ll need to know how many staff we need, how much food to be ordered, how often the salon will be open—and the list goes on. So, in fact, the benefits of signing up residents to move in benefit both the leadership at Homeplace and the residents.

If a person decides to move in, the one-time deposit for a personal care apartment is $750, and the one-time deposit for a memory care apartment is $1,500. The move-in dates in summer will be staggered so that the move-in days won’t be overly crowded. We want to be able to dedicate enough staff to each resident on his or her move-in day and we want it to be a special day for each.

Please call to get added to our interested list to move in with us this summer and we will call to schedule a personal tour in June. We hope you’ll move in with us this summer and join our family!
