In a significant move to improve senior care in our region, local residents, Jessica and Patrick Beaven have announced their acquisition of Colonial Assisted Living, Colonial Senior Living, Colonial Court Independent
Living, and Colonial Cottages Independent Living, from an Indiana-based owner/operator. The Beavens are the founders and operators of Homeplace of Henderson.
The acquisition, made possible through investments from seven families (all Hendersonians), and Field and Main Bank, finalized on August 12, 2024, will allow the Beavens to bring their vision of enhanced, community-focused living to seniors from Henderson and the surrounding areas. With their extensive backgrounds in senior living, the couple is dedicated to transforming these communities into welcoming environments that Henderson’s seniors will be proud to call home.
“We are thrilled to take on this responsibility and are eager to build meaningful relationships with our residents and their families,” said Jessica Beaven. “Our goal is to create a family culture that embodies excellence in care, unmatched service, and innovative technology to enrich the lives of those we serve and employ!”
The couple plans to implement several initiatives aimed at enhancing resident experiences, including upgrading technology infrastructure, improving facility maintenance, increasing staff wages, and most importantly, person-centered care. As part of their community commitment, the Beavens will host a ribbon cutting event on September 10th at Homeplace of Henderson at Adams Lane (previously known as Colonial Senior Living) for families and community members to tour the facilities and learn about the upcoming improvements.
“We look forward to working closely with our staff and the Henderson community to make the communities the best they can be,” added Jessica Beaven.
The Beavens are Henderson residents and are passionate about improving the lives of seniors.
