The Homeplace Team was excited to continue to learn on how to provide the best care to families and residents in our local community. We were honored to attend a conference hosted by Teepa Snow, Dementia Care Expert and founder of Positive Approach to Care. At the conference our team was educated on communication and care when providing services to those living with dementia.
Our state-of-the-art memory care community is designed to provide exceptional care and lifestyle to those who reside in our community, and thankfully the dementia expert herself, made a stop by Homeplace. She was able to communicate directly with families, residents, and employees to provide education. She was able to view the community first-hand and confirmed that the care and creation of the community was intentional.
