If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you probably have a pretty good idea what we at the Homeplace of Henderson believe in. To put it simply, our residents are at the center of every decision we make. We care for and love them as much as their families do.
That’s the mindset we look for when hiring members of our team, too. We need each staff member to believe in this approach to care as much as we do.
As the clock counts down to our grand opening, we’ve reached a critical moment in forming our team. We’re still gathering applications for candidates. We need great people to join our staff. And time is of the essence!
Our needs are varied. They include direct caregivers, housekeeping, support staff, and dietary staff, specifically cooks and servers. No matter what position, though, staff members will gain valuable experience that will help in any health-related career.
All our employees are cross-trained. That means they learn valuable skills from a variety of lenses. This includes certifications from the American Heart Association for basic life support—CPR certification, basic first aid, and AED training. Additionally, they receive training in dementia through CARES, as well as training in technology, customer service, and much more. We need all our employees, whether maintenance, housekeeping, or dietary, to be able to assist when they see a resident in need.
If you want to come to work every day to make a difference in a resident’s or a colleague’s life, then please contact us. We offer flexible schedules and competitive pay.
An application form can be found on our website, homeplaceofhenderson.com. Then click on the ‘Careers’ tab at the top of the page.
We’re excited to work with you!
