Homeplace of Henderson offers monthly educational seminars on dementia for individuals and families caring for loved ones living with dementia. Since launching these virtual discussions via Zoom, attendance has continued to grow, allowing us to reach caregivers who may be unable to attend in person due to their caregiving responsibilities.
The purpose of these monthly seminars is to provide practical information, helpful resources, and supportive guidance to improve the quality of life for both caregivers and those living with dementia. Past topics have included personal care, medication management, meaningful activities that bring joy, end-of-life services, and many other important aspects of dementia care.
These seminars are offered free of charge and include a question-and-answer session, a book giveaway, and an opportunity for attendees to share experiences and connect with others facing similar challenges.
