Fresh air, close to home.

Memory care has its own secure courtyard with a large pergola, so residents can spend time outdoors safely. Walkways, rocking chairs and hanging flowers make it easy to sit a while, and residents enjoy music under the pergola, snacks on the patio and an evening stroll.

Care with the person in mind.

We’ll get to know your loved one’s history, preferences and needs, and build care around them.

  • Specialized support. Our caregivers receive dementia-care training, including CARES training. We also use the Virtual Dementia Tour, a hands-on simulation that gives caregivers a sense of what daily life can feel like for someone living with dementia.
  • A secure neighborhood. Secured entrances and wander-prevention technology support residents as they explore.
  • A personal care plan. An RN oversees a plan developed with family around each resident’s needs, preferences, and stage of dementia.
  • A familiar rhythm. A structured daily routine brings predictability to the day.
  • Time together. With daily care supported by our team, families can focus on spending time together.

Already at Homeplace? Assisted living residents at Green River Road and Adams Lane can move to our memory care neighborhood without leaving Homeplace.

Current residents are offered an opening before people on our waiting list.

CARE & SAFETY

Safety without feeling closed in.

Entrances are secured, and exit doors are designed to blend into walking paths, so residents can move freely through the neighborhood.

Wander management

Secured entrances support the memory care neighborhood. For residents who wear a CenTrak call pendant, entering an unsafe zone alerts caregivers.

Foresite depth sensors (included)

Apartment and bathroom depth sensors are included. Foresite uses depth sensors, not traditional cameras. They capture shape and movement, with no faces or identifiable images. Sensors alert staff to a fall.

Optional bed sensor (paid add-on)

A paid add-on tracks sleep restlessness, time out of bed, and changes in heart rate and breathing.

EasyCare

Caregivers record completed tasks, and supervisors can see what is upcoming or late.
