Five Years of Homeplace: Celebrating the People Who Make It Home

This October, Homeplace of Henderson celebrates its fifth anniversary. It is a milestone we are proud to mark—and an opportunity to thank the people who give this community its meaning: our residents, their families, our team, and our neighbors here in Henderson, Kentucky.

When we think about what makes Homeplace special, we think about everyday moments. A conversation over lunch. A familiar face stopping to say hello. A shared laugh during an outing. The pleasure of finding someone who enjoys the same things you do. Those moments may be small, but they are at the heart of feeling at home.

A community shaped by its people

Our residents bring their own stories, interests, traditions, and personalities to Homeplace. They help shape the conversations around the table and the friendships that grow here. This anniversary belongs to them as much as it belongs to anyone.

To the families who have chosen Homeplace: thank you for your trust. We know that choosing a senior living community is a personal decision, often made through many questions and conversations. We value the chance to get to know your family and to keep listening as needs and preferences change.

Thank you to the Homeplace team

A welcoming community depends on the people who show up for it every day. From preparing meals and planning activities to caring for our spaces and supporting residents, every role contributes to life at Homeplace.

As we celebrate five years, we want to recognize that daily work. We are grateful for our team’s time, care, and attention—and for the relationships they build with residents and families.

Rooted in Henderson, looking ahead

Being locally owned and operated connects Homeplace to the community around us. Henderson is home to our neighbors, our families, and the places we enjoy visiting together. We are grateful to be part of it.

Today, families can explore independent living at Homeplace Court and Homeplace Cottages, assisted living at Green River Road and Adams Lane, and memory care at Green River Road. Each setting offers a different starting point for a conversation about what feels right for you or someone you love.

Our anniversary is a chance to reflect, but it also invites us to look ahead: to keep listening, welcome new neighbors, and make room for more friendships and shared experiences.

Come get to know Homeplace

If you are exploring senior living in Henderson, we invite you to see Homeplace for yourself. Meet our team, look around, and bring your questions. You do not need to have every answer before starting the conversation.

Arrange a visit or call 270-869-2344. To everyone who has been part of Homeplace’s story: thank you for helping make these five years worth celebrating.
